Alex Arthur at the age of 30 should retire???? hes got another 3 to 4 years boxing in him, its well knowing that alex takes care of himself outside the ring.
He was never a world class boxer and never will be, but he is a very good boxer, he cleaned up the british and european scene at super featherweight, and even held the wbo superfeatherweight title.
At 135 their is loads of options for him, he could fight willie limond, lee macalister who will be commonwealth champion, john murray whos british champion, then fight for the european title, also their is talk about him fighting khan.
Loads of great domestic fights right their, and i personally would pay 40 pound a ticket to go see these, and am sure many british boxing fans would love to see these fights.
Weve seen some right cracking domestic fights this year, and alex arthur has the potenial to be in many more, and make himself alot more money, after all he does have a wife and 3 kids to look after.
Saying somebody should retire from their sport because they will never be the main man is ****** and disrespectful.

arthur has shown nothing to me in the last few years to be considered anywhere near world class. he's jus a good domestic level fighter. he should fight murray or someone.
