I think Frank Warren's slowly heading the way of Mickey Duff. He's old school, putting young fighters through 30+ bouts before they get a sniff of a serious title shot. Hayemaker and one or two other promoters have completely dismantled this overinflated model and young fighters now have the opportunity to fight at world level whilst they're on their way up to prime rather than coming back down.
It's great to see this happening. Warren and his associates have cheated and milked British fight fans for years. I'm sure the three kids he recently signed up from the amateurs won't stay with him for long. Not if they've got any sense.
