    Kell Brook

Does this kid have what it takes? He's certainly talented - in the Ingle/Naz mould - but can he go all the way? From what I've seen of him he looks an excellent prospect - but I'm not entirely sure about his chin. I can't say that I've seen him in any kind of trouble, but I don't think he's faced anyone who can really ****.

    Opinions please.

I think that he's the best prospect in the UK.

I've seen the fight where he got knocked down, and his legs seemed fine as soon as he got up. I guess we'll have to see him in there with a puncher before we know for sure, but I've not seen anything to make me worry about his chin.

If the fight with Mutley gets rescheduled I think that'll be a big indicator of just how good he is. I was looking forward to that one so hopefully they sort something out.

I've got to second Clegg there . He defintley looks like the best in the UK . Paul Appelby got the young boxer of the year just beating Brook because he decisioned John Simpson . On Brooks next fight after that he stopped the former British champ Kevin McIntyre in one round .He defintley looks a class above domestic level already and he's still young . I think at the least he'll be is a world champion . Could go on to be a great fighter .

Good prospect, needs to get more fights going though and needs to step up to Euro level soon. He can't stay fighting British fighters all his life, though i know that's what Warren would like.

From what I've seen he's pretty good! Not sure Warren is the right guy to put him with if he wants recognition BUT at world level he will get KO'd no matter how good a chin he has it's up in the air the entire time and someone will be able to take advatange of that. I like him though.

He can use his jab as a power punch too, which not to many fighters do these days.

I'm less concerned about Warren today than I was five years ago. Thankfully Hayemaker has exposed the established method of fight promotion whereby a boxer has forty tomato can fights before he challenges for a WBO belt for the fraud that it is. The trend now is to accelerate fighters past the deadbeats and into stiffer competition earlier.

Frank Warren either gets with the programme or becomes extinct. His choice.

I used to train at the Ingles gym for a few months back in 2003, when Kell was 16 and I was 17. I knew him quite well. And I can tell you he will be the next U.K great, (all been well). He has been open sparring with Junior Witter since before them days, at 16 was ripped as **** and training like a pro. He even used to knock down experianced super middleweight pros in open sparring as a 16 year old 10 stone kid. He has many junior ABA titles. I can tell you he is the next big thing. Believe the hype!
