Nigel Benn: Keep your head, Froch

Froch is 31, 32 and has only just become world champion. There must be a lot of pressure on him, because if he loses this fight he's not exactly a spring chicken to come again and he's going to America where they don't endear to us Brits.

Good luck to him. In fights of mine like Iran Barkley, Robbie Simms and Chris Eubank II, I was under loads of pressure.

Robbie Simms had beat Roberto Duran and gone to Italy to fight the best. Barkley was Barkley.

I couldn't afford to lose those fights. Chris had hit me harder than anyone in the seventh round of the No. 1 fight and threw that punch early in the No. 2 fight and I slipped it.

Robbie Simms was the strongest man I ever fought, stronger than Watson or Eubank. I had to watch out for his body punching.

What I say to Carl is: 'Keep your head and you'll do all right, mate.' He's got the reach and is a strong body puncher with a strong chin.

I don't think Taylor is mentally strong enough to get past the reach and cope with the pain and frustration.

He knew those smaller guys he fought couldn't hurt him, so why didn't he take chances and let fly in those fights?

You have to say he's mentally weak for a proper war.

But then it's about Froch not crumbling mentally - and if he doesn't, I see him bringing the belt back to Britain.

I heard the same, but im sure ive seen him comment on boxing since. He spoke about Calzaghe a few times.
He has been religious for a long time now. But a while ago he said he wasnt talking to the media anymore. I think boxing is just in his blood.

He doesn't. It was related to your above post, as in contradictory on Benn's part.
