It's an accepted part of internet forum etiquette that posters keep things neat and tidy by not creating lots of threads about the same thing

i was merely directing members to an ongoing chat about the very same subject .

yeah perhaps that thread has got lost down the pages ,but all i was doing was pointing it in the direction for others to read

A lot of NSB topics get doubled in here. You tend to get a concentration of Brits in GBS, so the tone of the convo is often different than what you'd get on the same subject in NSB. Is no big deal.
