        Seriously, that whole, or at least most of the card was broadcast over the radio, and both the 1985 Ring Record Book & The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Boxing state that the first fight broadcast live over the radio was Packey O'Gatty versus Frankie Burns...

        Interesting sidenote (or not really), that O'Gatty/Burns fight was also the first time the ring's MC had used a microphone.
