    Randy Stephens

It's unfair to Stephens, whose fights I watched a lot at the time, that the fight I remember most is one that he lost, against Ken Norton. Because of veteran Norton holding back and not throwing an unnecessary punch in the 3rd round.

"When the bout was over, Stephens' manager thanked Norton for letting up on his boxer."

RIP, Randy. Stephens was considered to be a bit of a prospect in the mid to late 1970's.

        - -Kenny full class, and to be fair, the kid took some good shots to fight back, but the end foreordained from their births.

Anyone think Ken could've had a better career had he not been such a chick magnet?

I hear tell Adonis was jealous.
