How would Henry Armstrongs style work today? how would his guard work today he used cross arm guard but only protect his body not head and used head movement, would he get hit a lot today or would it work still?

Michael Conlan seems to step in with punches and immediately bob his head, keeping his head quite low when he is in close range. I reckon they got that from Armstrong. Can't exactly use him as an example though because of his opposition and his own skill level not being of the same caliber.
It would work but it depends on the style it's used against.
