    Could Louis demolish Trevor Berbick

Faster than a young Mike Tyson? Tyson did it in 2, could prime Joe Louis do it in 1?

        Could he?? Yes

        Would he?? Probably not

Louis was a bit more patient of a fighter than a young Mike Tyson, and styles make fights. But the result would be the same

Louis was too small too slow and too patient. But if he tapped that chin it’s possible although he may have gotten his tender chin tapped first.

Berbick was a slow starter, I remember watching his fight with Snipes and Berbick was floored a couple times in the first. He came back and made it close fight but the knockdowns early were the difference. Louis would have went after him early because it is what he did anyways.

Louis was taught to look for weakness by applying pressure in spurts, but never totally letting off the gas pedal. A great Thai champion once remarked that a devistating punch does not need to be thrown hard, so much as accurately. Louis was a professional and did not try to throw punches hard, instead he threw them with perfect form.
