How much more would Leonard have accomplished if he hadn't had to retire in 1982 because of eye problems?

What if Sugar Ray Leonard never had eye problems?

He would have certified his greatness. Triple division champ. And avoided being put in the Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and Johnny Gill crowd. Will leave it at that.

Unfortunately, I have to say he would not have accomplished much more than he did anyway. He mainly would have perfected his gamesmanship, stalling, waiting for Hag to age out. He probably would have thrown in a couple of spontaneous retirements along the way anyway, was how I see the gamesmanship style of Mr. Leonard. Give him half a chance and he probably would have out-Floyded Floyd. He had numerous chances to improve upon his legacy and backed out. No timely rematch for Hearns would be a prime example, by burgled buggery. The gamesmanship in the timing of the Duran rematch would be another, preventing a true match of skills and replacing it with a fraud of a fight.

I dunno if it was just eye-problems that derailed him.
But he definitely could have accomplished more. I just don't know what that would be.
It would be nice to think he'd face a younger Hagler, and have further matches w/ Duran.
And, as a result, he might have had more losses on his record.
