    Kevin Kelley

What are your thoughts on Kevin Kelley? Apologizes for these threads, I make these every now and then. I just find it fascinating to talk about some past fighters, especially some "forgotten" ones like Ivan Robinson

Anyways, I dont know shít about boxing, but I really liked Kelley. He had some tremendous, exciting fights, like the bouts against Naseem Hamed and Troy Dorsey

But my favorite bout was his first fight against Derrick Gainer. What a fight!

I dont know much about 90's boxing, dont know how to rate him or anything, i'd just like to hear if anyone wants to talk about him, has something to say, has met him or anything. Seemed like a cool guy from what i've seen and an exciting fighter. I feel the same about Ivan Robinson, I like both and thought they were quite exciting but I feel like they are quite rarely mentioned

He had a lot of entertaining bouts! That fight with Troy Dorsey, they threw more than 2000 punches combined! Crazy stuff

Dude, his fight against Prince Naseem was like a miniature version of "The War".

Dare I say, it might have been even more entertaining.

Make sure you watch that fight.

PS, Like your vids on Pernell and 90's boxing.

          That's my era, right there.

Thanks man, appreciated! 90's boxing was an interesting time even though I dont know that much about it

Kelley-Hamed fight was a blast indeed! Kelley has had his share of great fights. Also one of them was great that I dont remember the opponent. Troy Dorsey fight had over 2000 punches thrown and against Derrick Gainer there was multiple knockdowns too, just like in the Hamed fight. What a warrior

He was one of the most underrated fighters in the 1990s . He was all guts and glory. He would go out on his shield before ever giving up or quitting. Overall, he was an entertaining and crowd pleasing fighter.
