Change in Tyson's body post-prison

Tyson was always a beast and muscular but there was a noticeable change in Tyson's body composition post-prison.

He came out not only heavier and more muscular but at a lower body-fat % he was bigger but also more cut.

Was there ever discussion as to what this change reflected or was it a pro or con in any way?

Cus obviously put him on a powerful HGH program since he was a young teen. The body he had later on in the 90s was the result of more sophisticated PED's.

Controversial statements I know but combat sports fans are gonna have to deal with this reality eventually.

And they know fighters, esp heavies gain weight with maturity...DUH!!!

His generation is steeped in so much PED use that's all they see. Somehow the dummie landed on the Ring roster of writers, and one of his earliest masterpieces was the Angula/Kirkland dramatic dustup.

That pretty much sums half on this forum. The notion that old school Cus pumped him up when he was no different than any other fast maturing kid in history is laughable but for the current feeble mental state of the average boxing fan.

I feel downright remonstrated. I am a 19th grader, sir. I am very sorry to have upset you, by Sneezy. Heck, I even thought they removed muscle elephant equipment from the prisons a while back. Maybe that was only in selected states. But I've heard say those boys will even curtsy to build their gluts if necessary. Let them curtsy all day, then. Prisons will be safer and more homey.

Steroids were long administered to the elderly to increase mass and strength of the atrophy of aging. They expanded that model for patients coming out of serious Surgery.

Weight training is just a tool used to maximize any gains.

As such, steroids seen as old school and being replaced by HGH and EPO that are less detectable.
