Something like that...
1) I have trouble granking Britton. He could be the best for all we know. I doubt that based on reports that he struggled w/ benny Leonard. But really w/o footage of him, we don't know how good he was. he has the best time on top, though, of anyone short of Robinson.
2) Ranking Walker and Hearns was tough as they clearly had nights where they were super dangerous fighters, but this really wasn't their best division; they matured into much better Middleweights. Other fighters had much longer and more consistent tenure.

LOL, God no.
No way Mayweather was the best Ww. I agree, in generations past he would have been a Ww. Pre-1975, people would've balked at the idea of Mayweather fighting anywhere south of Welterweight.
But he did nothing at Ww that warrants inclusion among the division's absolute best. I kinda throw him a bone because I think he fairs very, very well H2H against a lot of fighters. But he was so coddled even in his own era, it's hard to see him adjusting to the rules and conditions of generations past.
And Armstrong isn't even top 15, let alone top 10.

henry Armstrong number 2!?!?!?
Whodid he beat to even make the top 10? A horribly faded Ross is the only name of merit on his record. Duran has a faaaar superior Ww legacy.
