The only thing them too pugilist had in common was skin color. Kelly was a solid pro with a devastating right hand. Good fighter. Pavlik was a good skilled fighter. Duddy was a Ham & Egger fighter who cut up like a watermelon. That fight would’ve lasted maybe 3 rounds with Duddy going out in devastating fashion. Ugly one sided bout while it lasted.
And that’s that !

Yeah... styles are styles, but it would have to be competitive first. Duddy wasn't even on Gary Lockett level and I'd be surprised if He was able to go more than 2 rounds of complete beatdown.

more like knockout of the year. john duddy was a club fighter, kelly pavlik was the middleweight champion of the world. he had a better chin, power, size, gameplan, everything. he'd f#cking kill john duddy. that fight would have been scary.

Duddy was fun to watch. But that also tells you he would be ****** enough to hit get hit with the full brunt of Locketts punches.
