Rocky Marciano vs George Chuvalo and Ron Lyle

Prime Rocky fights Chuvalo and Lyle (not at the same time just to clarify or in the same night). Does Marciano beat these men and if he does, how much of a price does he pay?

He stops both. Chuvalo takes too many blows and is busted up when the ref stops the bout in round 13.

Lyle does better early but is worn down late. TKO after 12 rounds I need a fight that's even.

Lyle might prove too big for Rocky; a 'pick-um' I wouldn't bet on; maybe a different outcome each time they fight.

Lyle could never beat Marciano. He had good power but was slow with little inside game.

A motivated Lyle that foreman faced is a lot more dangerous than Archie Moore who briefly stunned Rock with a hard KD.

If rock makes it past that gauntlet he'd pound out a decision over a retreating Lyle.

Moore was an ATG, light hwt champion of the world and the leading hwt contender at that time. Lyle although I respected him as a man and a fighter had non of these attributes. Hard puncher yes but no sharpshooter as was Moore.

Chuvalo punches harder than Charles. Of course he does not punch nearly as well, but for pure force I believe it would be harder. Chuvalo will be able to tee off on Rocky too. Neither one is exactly a genius at evasiveness. It is a fight both men would probably love, as really they are cut from the same mold of brawler.

Marciano defense is being underrated here. His low crouch, weave and follow through would make it tough for either fighter to land consistently. Once Rocky gets close it's his fight.

I see Lyle perhaps flooring Marciano, though it's not a given. Although a real possibility.

But I think Rocky's workrate combined with his hard punching will slowly but surely break Lyle down, later down the stretch and Marciano stops him late.

I pick Marciano by KO in both, but Lyle I could see doing a one-punch stunner like Alvarez did on Kovalev
