How in the hell does two supposed top p4p fighters get ranked like that when neither fighter has even cracked 20 fights????? And one of them is 37 ffs!!!!! If this is the new norm in boxing, then the sport has truly become a laughable joke and is indeed suffering it's death gasps.

Rigondeaux beat Donaire who was P4P #3 so I guess that has to put him into consideration?

Lomachenko has beaten some good top guys but no P4P fighters.

I guess with their crazy Amateur records they were fast tracked and didn't have the usual building fights most pros do. Lomachenko fought for a world title in hos 2nd fight, won one by the 3rd I think?

I'm sorry, but a bunch of amateur fights and four dollars should get you a latte at Starbucks. Ten fights into you're career and you should just now be graduating from 4 round prelims to 6 rounders. If they're fast tracking fighters like that the sport is truly doomed.

The fact that anyone holding a belt could actually LOSE to someone fighting in their THIRD fight tells me the sport has truly reached it's nadir.

Even when that person has 400 amateur fights? These people turned pro when most people consider retiring. If they don't get fast tracked they don't go anywhere. Rounds are build up to build a fighter to it, if you have 400 am fights you have already built your tank. You already have ring experience. You need a couple fights to acclimate to the change from the am's then you should be in the deep end, as you are not inexperienced. Especially medal winners. For you this historical match would never happen, as they would both be busy wasting their time fighting people they are vastly superior to. Lomachenko made 1 bad pull on Salido and other than that has literally been leaps and bounds above his competition. Why do you want him going even slower lol.

Pete Rademacher the Olympic Gold Medalist fought for the title in his first fight. Got crushed off course but he did alright for abit.

I would hazard to say that I've been watching boxing for longer than you've been alive. If this is what the sport is today, then it's sunk to the lowest level it's ever been at......and is grossly inferior to what it was just 15 years ago.

Lomachenko and Rigondeaux are very talented fighters though.
