    Daniel Zaragoza

Recently watched Zargoza vs Mccullogh. Amazing fight and haven't seen Zargoza's early fights but from that one fight he looked like an absolute beast with technical skills and a granite chin. Which are some of his best fights to watch and how do you rate him?

One of Nacho Beristain's guys. Very good but not great.

His trilogy with Paul Banke is fun to watch.

Road Warrior fighter with big wins, a real crowd favorite.
Fought everywhere against anyone! Tough southpaw!

        That's quite the understatement.

Zaragoza earned my respect many times. He was counted out so many times in his career and returned over and over scoring upsets and regaining that WBC title. Time after time he was brought in as an opponent and surprised us. Not a big puncher and not having the style you would expect but he would not go away. Fought many great lighter weight fighters of that era.

Another fighter from that era that would do this was Manuel Medina. Hard to bet against warriors like this.

When he passed the torch to Eric Morales in the ring, I was greatly impressed and moved by that war.
