    Will Vlad Pull A Tszyu?

Will Vlad pull a Tszyu, never going through with the rematch agaiinst Fury? I believe Vlad has the cowardice in him to do this. If he figures he cannot beat Fury any other way, then expect him to sit out the terms of the contract, forcing Fury to squander prime years waiting for the quaking slav. He may not be able to beat him, but he can ruin the career and prevent Fury from displaying how vulnerable he is to decent fighters until he is old enough for people to say he got old overnight.

This is the true coward's way out. The very same behavior helped trash Tszyu's legacy. Vlad is throwing yet another slav tantrum. We will see a lot more such tantrums in boxing now that the eastern Europeans are here. We are used to tantrums but the slavs may take it to a whole new level of consistency. They will not be outdone!

Fury could have fulfilled his IBF mandatory against Glazkov by now and his belt wouldn't have been stripped.

Rematch will happen. Vlad is a man of honor.

The rematch is likely to happen because of the big sums of money.

This is a different situation to Tszyu, who got out brawled and out muscled by Hatton. Wlad didn't go through the same experience. Tszyu realised that physically, he couldn't ride with a 25 year old Hatton.

It can only get 25% percent worse, but 50% better, wlad is gonna rematch because he is already down 100%

          simple maths really

            Very simple indeed.

I don't see Slavs as whiners and tantrum throwers. That is a gross exaggeration based on one Slavic fighter.

Wlad wants the rematch and he will show up. I have no doubt about that. Whether he will win is a different case. If he truly changes and closes the gap and goes after Fury, he has a great chance to turn things around.

If he boxes from the outside again, you'll get the same result, almost identically, with more signs of frustration near the end and he will, of at least should, retire after that.

But you never know. He could definitely surprise everybody. What I'm hoping for is a highly competitive rematch.

It is amazing that there could be big money in the rematch of arguably the worst heavyweight title exchange in history, certainly the record holder for fewest punchers landed per round.

Perhaps a mere fault of grammar. Vlad is not every slav.

What you are hoping for is an antithesis of everything Vlad has shown. He must become the stalker, but I believe he is probably incapable of the adaptation, a one trick pony. Though I would love to be wrong, you cannot count on his adaptability much. His biggest hope lies in Fury's own mediocrity and possible chinnyness.

For selfish reasons he is delaying this phase of contract negotiations, and is likely to extend them at least to their legal limit, I conjecture. As a fan, I abhor deliberate delays.

I don't see Vlad transforming himself with the perfect fight plan against the larger, more mobile man. The beginning of something interesting could be if he negotiated for a smaller ring. The fight begins long before the bell. The doctors of sports science have to devise the correct plan. One of the doctors has to have the technical ability and the heart to execute the features of the plan. This is sounding more unlike Vlad all the time.

If he is able to stalk Fury and cut off the ring, I will give him a lot of credit. But I would not pay ten dollars to watch it, that is how much faith I have in his ability to change up.

That doesn't matter, otherwise Mayweather or Whitaker (just to name a few) would not have made millions of dollars in their careers.

Edit: Just to explain, this isn't me taking the piss outta their skill set but rather both were largely deemed boring fighters by some fans and many casuals.

So, it's not necessarily about the quality of match ups or styles or how exciting/dull an affair was. If that was the case, Ward and Gatti would be the richest fighters on the planet.
