Originally posted by sonnyboyx2 View PostYou are Wrong, to claim Lewis, & Vitali to be on the same level. Lewis does not come close to the brothers level. Wladimir is in a totally different league, to what Lennox Lewis was ever in. Wladimir has "Run the Show" for eleven years. Wladimir has more world title fights than almost any other boxer. Wladimir has fought, The No1 Contenders consistently, throughout his reign. Wladimir has consistantly fought, undefeated, unexposed, young top rated No1 contenders... Lennox Lewis is the exact opposite to Wladimir. whichever way you look at it, Lewis turned down title fights with, "Every Top rated fighter and champions throughout the 1990s" unlike Wladimir, Lewis was "Stripped of every version of the Undisputed Title" for refusing to fight the No1 contenders...
Wladimir has "Ducked no-one"
Lewis ducked almost everyone.
Lewis boasted, "One brother for breakfast, the other brother for Tea".. Yet Lewis was very fortunate, to come away with a victory over the limited Vitali Klitschko. Lewis then quickly ran off into retirement, with his trousers full of brown. At the thought of facing Wladimir. In my opinion, Wladimir would destroy Lewis in a couple of rounds. Similar to McCall & Rahman.
Lewis won the Undisputed Title with a very debatable decision, over old Evander Holyfield. Lewis "NEVER" defended that Undisputed Title. He refused to fight the No1 Contenders, so was stripped of every belt. Wladimir has far to much pride and dignity, to run away from a challenge or bring the sport into dispute like Lennox Lewis.

Again you have facts mixed up, Vitali was better at the time Lewis fought him...sstylistically vs Wlad it could go either way, however to say Lewis was a weak champ discredits anything you say....the whole Carnera is better than Lewis comment ends it right there. Lewis fought better fighters to give up the belts,,as stated had Lewis fought Byrd you would then accuse him of ducking Vitali. There was nothing debatable about the Lewsi win over Holyfield unless you WISH to believe it.
The other stuff? Only if you twist it in your favor.
in reality this is really the only fact you posted...

Ray
just read the actual thread and links ...all those guys would look amateurish in the skills next to Floyd and Pacman...the fact you think fighting a unskilled brawler type Lamotta 5 times proves anything.
SRR was much better technically then them for HIS era, which is why he the top guy THEN. Basilio would maybe the only guy I actually see comparable to modern era and he has a win on SRR...so we'll leave it at that!Last edited by juggernaut666; 11-19-2015, 04:17 PM.

"Carnera is better than Lewis "
For you to hold Lewis in the same regard as Wladimir Klitschko is laughable. Lennox does not come close. Skills, longevity, achievements, quality, athleticism, everything say's Wladimir is by far the superior fighter...
It was Legendary Trainer Lou Duva (Lennox former trainer & promoter) who claimed Lennox is another Carnera... However in my opinion Carnera was better than Lennox, skillwise and agility wise.
Your claim, "Lewis fought better fighters to give up the belts" is laughable. Lewis gave up the WBA belt to avoid John Ruiz and fought Michael Grant & Frans Botha ~ Are you claiming Grant & Botha to be "Better Fighters" than John Ruiz?
John Ruiz ~ 2 time WBA World Heavyweight Champion, who fought in 10 World Heavyweight Title fights. Ruiz beat and floored Evander Holyfield, something Lewis never came near doing in 24rds. Ruiz "Robbed" against Toney, Chagaev & Valuev. otherwise should be 3 time champion.
Michael Grant ~ exposed very limited, hand-picked for harmlessness
Frans Botha ~ Steroid abuser, drug addict. hand-picked for harmlessness.
Chris Byrd ~ No1 contender, who defeated David Tua & Holyfield far easier than Lewis. Who defeated Vitali Klitschko. A victory which put him No1 contender (IBF)
Lewis vs Holyfield ~ Lewis unfortunate to not get decision (1) Holyfield robbed in rematch. I have watched both fights several times, Holyfield was the clear victor in (2) i suggest you watch fight with sound turned off.
Jugger, i am baffled to how you hold Lewis in such high regard??? it cannot be his achievements, it cannot be his skills or fighting ability, it cannot be the quality of his opponents????.. Lewis was no better than Frank Bruno. Lewis actually beat Bruno when on the verge of being KOd.. landing a last gasp wild-swinging left-hook, which caught Bruno on the chin. Lewis was looking at the floor as he threw that punch. He had never threw that punch before in his whole career, or threw it again in his career (Lucky Punch) Hasim Rahman called it, as did Frank Bruno... Bruno although at the tail-end of his career, actually defeated Oliver McCall the guy who KOd Lewis.

Vitali was nothing but an "injury prone, convicted PED abuser" - Wladimir is a totally different fighter compared to Lewis and Vitali.

On lewis....he has the same abiliites as either Klitchko to be a force to reckon with its on video...its not that hard to see that....maybe for Corso but that's another entity all together....a better question is how you think Ray knows what hes talking about when he calls Wlad a C level fighter...lewis avoided Byrd to persue Vitali and yes grant was better than Ruiz as most everyone was except for old Holyfield. You are also wrong lewis had a good left hook ,the only thing lewis didn't plan on was Bruno stuffing his right hand...5 out of 5 Lewis would k.o bruno
Your Lewis point of view is equally as insane as rays Wlad one!Last edited by juggernaut666; 11-19-2015, 04:40 PM.

Where Lewis is out done on sheer skill here...he makes up with ring adaptability.Who wins?It doesn't matter same levels of fighter. To call lewis average isn't smart boxing thinking nonetheless....that's up CERTAIN ppls alley way!Last edited by juggernaut666; 11-19-2015, 04:59 PM.

your a jerk plain and simple. The fact that you don't understand the skill set of a LaMotta who knows distance and was known for his defense and two handed attack proves once again your a jackazz!
Kid Gavilan is condsidered the greatest Cuban pro boxer and gave Robinson some of his best bouts!
Basilio is an ATG you don't know it but everyone who knows boxing does!
From Zivic to Holly Mimms your clueless, time to go back to ignoring you and elroy. I thought you both have started a different out look and possibly learned something but your both just kids and fools.
good luck kids your going to need it in life! Try to add reality to your exsistance.
