    Only floyd, hopkins, ali, greb, and maybe pernel or ezzard were on the level of robinson. Ray Leonard had to change his whole style just to beat Hagler. Robinson could fight his normal style and still come out victorious against Hagler.

      Changing his style means he was smart enough to adapt.. A lot of fighters can't adapt, even really good ones... Being able to adapt is a trait of a smart fighter..

      You don't have wins over benitez, duran, hearns, Hagler without an extremely high ring IQ.

        He changed his style to run from Hagler. He didn't fight effectivley on the outside or inside. His punches landed on Hagler's arms and gloves.
