      Good stuff man,,, ortiz and duran are two of my faves but never realized they were close to fighting... Thanks for the knowledge

        would have been a great name to have on Duran's resume but as you stated there would have to been an somewhat tainted win because of Carlos's age

            Jeez I knew he was somewhat obsessed with getting a rematch but thought he should of got one prior to the Suzuki loss for the other half of the title. I did not realize Ken was active in 94

              He wasn't active in 1994, he probably wanted to fight Duran in the gym or something, I doubt that even he knows what he was doing, perhaps it was simply the drink.

                Buchanan deserved a rematch. He lost the lightweight title from a low blow. How often does that happen (awaits obscure fighters I've never heard of to be referenced or ones I have heard of but fights I haven't seen).
