I see your point as a good constructive counterbalance....Many times pigeons become eagles in the winds of time! Alas Mike M was no pigeon however he was mecurial at times. I think Mayweather is vulnerable against a good pressure fighter. Mccallum had these skills and Floyd is not at his best anthing North of 135...so its possible.
I'm not convinced that Floyd is any worse off at the higher weights. Yes, he isn't as quick. Yes, he cannot sustain the same levels of intensity. And yes, his KO percentage drops off considerably. HOWEVER, right now he is a far more experienced fighter ... harder to hit ... wastes less energy ... etc. etc.
Lord knows I've wanted to see someone wipe that smug grin off Floyd's face for years. But no one has. Moreover, whenever he's been hit hard with the kinds of punches critics said he'd never survive (such as against Shane) he not only took them but returned the same with interest.
No matter the taste of sour g****s on my breath and teeth worn down to powder - I have to say the guy's a champion fighter with special talent.
I watched Mike STRUGGLE to beat Herol Graham, who, whilst an exceptionally gifted athlete with freakish reflexes, should have been a relatively straight forward fight for a fully prepared and professional Body Snatcher.
He would go undefeated, beating everyone that was willing to fight him, he had boxing skills with the best of them, had awesome power, he had it all, no one could or would beat him! I have no doubt about it.
