The sole reason I got into boxing is because of who I believe is the GOAT, Muhammad Ali. I did my fair share of research on him for a research report on him in high school and became fascinated with the sport. Which lead me to even giving the sport a shot, which I did for around 7 months before I injured my shoulder and began to get caught up in college.
Now as a young fan I am most interested in learning about the golden era(s) of boxing.. I missed out on a lot which lead me to watching fights from the past.. just seeing fights of the 80s and early 90s had me saying "wow this is the greatest sport alive"
If anyone could recommend some boxing history type books for boxing history around the 20s-40s or even 60s-80s it would be great. Doesn't have to be broad, it could even be an (auto)biography of a fighter.. just shoot me some recommendations!
