I believe it was the second round that duran made leonard wobble it was a close and exciting fight in which duran won.

Duran rocked Leonard in the second with a left hook. That set the tone for a while, by the time Leonard started to fight the fight was almost over. Credit Duran with the win and giving Leonard the experience that Dundee was hoping for not with the loss but hey Duran was still Duran then!!
Leonard was getting good but he lacked Duran experience, to me it was Leonards best fight along with Hearns. Both times he fought hard towards the end after loosing the begining and middle, one he lost and one he won.

I'm more of a Leonard fan than a Duran fan. Ray makes my top 10 all time faves. However; I watched this fight again last week and it is definitely a deserved Duran victory......

the official cards were all pretty close if i remember right so u not far off if u think leonard won. i remember watching that fight live on ppv n not knowing for sure who won it. also leonard seemed to have won 3or4 of the last 5 rounds so that sometimes will leave an impression on viewers

Just look at Leonard's interview after the fight..he sure as hell wasn't talking like
              he won or got robbed.

In fact, it seems like every close fight has been regurgitated (Ali vs Jones of recent memory) ad nauseam on this forum. But, as you say, it's in the nature of history to repeat itself.

I know I sound like a pretentious bastard but I'm telling you that you are all wrong Leonard won that fight. The whole time I watched the fight the commentators are saying "Duran'd making him fight his fight" and I was like so! he's landing more punches.

Nothing anyone will say will change my mind. I know what I saw( about 5 times now) I was just hoping some had seen it this way and together we could figure out why no one else scored it correctly
                  Post your scorecard then.

                    Agreed.

Although to the OP, I have said that I think that Duran leaning his body on Leonard gave people the perception that Duran was doing better than he really was. It was a very close fight in my eyes, very close.
