Aaron Pryor vs JC Chavez

Would be a war, but if this is chavez late 80s, i think he beats pryor,,,
not sure about a stoppage, but chavez had granite chin that could take pryor's power plus chavez had great stamina and his pressuring style and ability to box going backwards would ultimately be too much for pryor,,,
Chavez was a great great fighter, and pryor was a very good fighter,,
I think after 4 or 5 rounds, chavez takes over, forces pryor back against the ropes and punishes him to the body,, Pryor would not be able to deal with the pressure and fighting off his back foot and ropes,,,,,, Chavez UD or late stoppage,,
I think it would look alot like the rosario-chavez fight

Pryer was a monster. I think he outguns a fellow gunner. Chavez was less explosive than Pryer. And Pryer, like Armstrong and those real swarmers could punch more. Swarmers keep coming...I don't think Chavez could handle this attack in deep water, the later rounds.
Some guys are their own worse enemy....Pryer beat Pryer!

I just dont see many guys standing in front of chavez and doing very good,,, if you stood in front of him, he would break you,,,, slick movers like a pernel, srl, floyd, randall, is what causes chavez problems,, not a guy that will stand and trade and be easy to find,,,

If anybody could go toe to toe with Chavez its Pryor. Exciting ass match up. I think whoever lands the first hard punch to make the other go backwards wins. I could see a late stoppage or close decision by either.
Probably lean towards Chavez because of the experience and longevity he had. Pryor on top of his game when he wasnt a coke head was a problem though

at his best v arguello pryor is awkwardly in n out broken rhythm swarming intermittently irregularly moving. its the smartest way to fight chavez. u still get hit but far less than if u just dug in n went toe to toe. so pryor wins on points in a classic

Chavez was better defensively and the harder puncher. His balance was better- Pryor was more prone to go down because his feet got crossed. Chavez was pinpoint with his punching accuracy and very heavy handed.
No way on earth is pryor going to fluster Chavez, and Chavez will keep landing those thudding body punches and laser like straight right hands.
If Chavez lets Pryor come to him, he will win over the distance. If Chavez takes the fight to pryor, makes him back up and takes advantage of the sometimes funky pryor footwork, then Chavez stops him. 5-7 rounds. He'll control the distance and smash him.
