    Slow "pure boxers"

I realized that fighters who are often described as pure boxers; the jabbing, moving side to side type of fighters always have great or at least above average speed. For example Floyd and B-Hop.

What fighters use this style but lack speed, maybe even slow? The only ones I can think of are Monzon, Klitschkos, and to a lesser extent Morales and Froch.

I wouldn't call Klitscho (either of them) slow at all. Actually, most people refer to them both as being fast (especially for their size).

maybe marquez ... though I wouldn't call him slow either. But he is not as fast as some of the guys he has beaten via skill and timing.

        Arguello wasn't exactly quick.

Beat me to it.....my first choice. Monzon would be my second.

Froch.....he's got the slowest hands of the 21st Century.

Never said that. He's not a slickster, but he does utilize a "boxer" style. I threw Froch in as the OP suggested his name for examples as well.

                    hahaha

George Benton was not a big mover and his hands were not like lighting
yet he was near impossible to hit with a solid punch let alone with 2 in a row
his hands were not all that fast for a boxer style but he had more power than most boxer types and was sneaky in his combos lulling people with single punches then suprising them with combos

Antonio Esparragoza is another he made up for speed with a great tempo as if he were fighting to music
Great timing and combos worked up and down and is very similar to Arguello the way he throws his combos but is super smooth and never of balance
