A thread from 2013, and now, five years of thinking 😊, I still find it hard to rank them in order. In the late 1970s-early 1980s, the world flyweight title changed hands in almost every fight.

But I do like watching flyweights in action. My “Fight of the Year” in 2011 was the first meeting between Luis Concepcion and Hernan Marquez (nicknamed “Mini-Tyson” because he had a high KO-ratio for a flyweight).

Though I don’t think the fight did any of them good. “A piece of you stays in the ring after every fight.” It seems it took a lot of pieces of both guys (both still active), they looked less impressive after this battle than they had before it.
