do you agree with dundee's statement?

He said take Thomas Hearns Body and give him Ray Leonards balance and you would have the greatest fighter ever.

I would if you throw in the Leonard's hand speed and Hearns' right hand. Then add the late career Leonard cherry picking and that fighter would never lose.

Ray Leonard's punch resistance would have helped too......

Ray did have a shade faster hands and probably was the better combination puncher of the two. So I'd say that there is more than just balance in the equation.

But a mish mash of the two would be quite something!

Hearns boxed when he boxed and ****** when he ******, what he means is if he could balance them and find the perfect paradox, he would be the greatest. It's not the physical assets of ray he talked about, it's how he used his tools. And yeah I agree with that, although his chin is the only issue

The gentleman in post 5 agrees with you as well. I do as well. Angie did work one corner that beat sugar and that was the first carmine basilio fight but sugar got carmin in the return and had his eyebrow puffed up the size of a large plum.
