could someone with the same punching power as a prime george foreman be able to hurt, floor, or ko foreman?

also, could someone with the same handspeed as a prime muhammad ali cut-up, confuse, or hit ali at will?

i'm just wondering, cause we all know that george had a granite chin and ali has lightning fast head reflexes.

foreman could definetly be hurt but ali would'nt be confused one bit by someone with equal speed floyd patterson was hell of a fast too and ali coped with him

The answer is no to both.

Ali faced Floyd Patterson, who had equal handspeed - and wasn't troubled.

Foreman could be troubled by power - as could everyone - but it would need to be a skilled power puncher - Louis, Liston etc. I dont think Shavers would trouble him much.

Ali struggled more with pressure and a jab, rather than speed.

Ali might struggle if he faced another jab as good as his own. It was evident in several of his 1960's fights that someone with a good, quick jab could stifle him a little bit. The problem was that these fighters didn't follow that jab with enough pressure. Had Patterson or Frazier a jab like Ali's, ol' Cassius might have faded into the distance.

Ali vs. Ali would have been terribly boring.

Foreman vs. Foreman would have been hilarious; two slow moving mummies waylaying each other.

Your right. It's boring watching two similar sized and styled fighters box. I prefer vaiety.
