ive been watching a few rid**** bowe fights recently and came across a funny as hell interview in the ring after his fight with tillery ( 2nd fight ) he is talking about how his greatest wish and ambition apart from winning the title is to fight lennox lewis and redeem his loss in the olympics he cant be a success until he does that, he even calls him out to fight for free !!! in his next fight ? , now what the hell happened ? either him and his deuce bag manager rock newman are bare faced hypocrite lairs or lewis never came to the party , i tend to think they never intended to fight lewis at all as they avoided him like the plague later on , its a pity as i dont really rate lewis that highly and think bowe at his peak might have taken him .

You've seen the video of Bowe ducking Lewis haven't you? When he throws the belt in the trash can?
Now I've heard/read stuff on here that suggested the money wasn't great for Bowe and that's why he pulled that move with the trash can. Either way he knew Lewis would have schooled him. He didn't want no parts of "the pugilist specialist". -

yeah i remember well bowe doing the trash bag thing , and i think its all his fault he avoided lewis that was cowardley , but it still would have been i good fight bowe had a good jab and powerful over the top looping right that would have worried lewis , but in hindsite watching the whole bowe career he was to inconsistant and lewis probably would have won , also bowe was a dirty s.o.b his low blows were constant his fight with pierre coetzer was a disgrace , and manager rock newman is a turd.Comment

I really like Bowe, proper character! There was a brief point in time id have took Bowe's similar size and power, inside fighting and toughness to beat Lennox but in terms of rating them its Lewis All day longComment
