I think mine was one he lost but was leading that being the joey maxim fight for the light heavy title. He showed alot of heart and it would have been a great achivement if he would have overcome the heat.

What's more is that I'd be prepared to bet that if the ref hadn't stepped in, LaMotta would've ended the fight flat on his face, for the full 10.
Now that is an achievement.
Seriously though.

He was and IS the Greatest Fighter EVER!! Plus he knows how to box!!
Watching him dismantle the tuffest man in boxing using the same brutal shots that Jake would use is incredible!
For the young fans today who think a Mayweather or a Whitaker are great fighters just study these videos. Robinson would destroy them, look at him hammer Jakes left side with kidney blows so Jakes hook is less of a weapon. He systomaticly breaks down the tuffest fighter's best attributes and actually stops him. Never see another like him, the guy Loved to Fight! Ray

I'll go with his second fight with Fullmer.
He realized the mistake the incredibly tough and awkward Fullmer made and finished the fight with a perfect punch that capitalized on that mistake.

I can comment on this when I get to watch his career set. So Lamotta and Fullmer are the ones to watch then? How about Basilio? Looking forward to watching this one.
