Marlon Starling is an ATG welterweight with one of the most difficult styles to deal with. I actually have him out boxing Duran in a close decision

Starling was an extremely skilled, smart, and tough individual. The furthest thing from an easy mark for the 147lb Duran.
Same here. I just don't like this style for Duran. It might look like Duran's loss to Benitez, which wasn't nearly as close as the scores were.

I think Starling's tendency to mug and clown in fights costs him here, like it did several times in his career, Curry being a good example. He was a wonderful defensive fighter, but like a lot of those defensive specialists he tended to neglect his own offense. It could end up being a bit like the Viruet fights. He'd frustrate Duran, but ultimately Duran's aggression and activity wins the day. He's not KO'ing Mooch though. Duran UD.

Duran in a close MD. As mentioned, Don't think Marlon could match Roberto's aggression, and that costs him the fight.

            - -My old buddy Scott with a good point stylistically, but Duran losing to Benitez was at 154 where he didn't have to train, thus taking some time off to adjust to the big boys.

Reportedly Benitez ducked him at 140.

Best to best at 147, ain't nobody beating Duran...FACT!!!

Starling never beat anyone close to Duran’s caliber. Duran would be too much for Marlon. UD for Hands of Stone.

Moochie was a crafty guy who probably would’ve given Duran some troubles.
The head movement gives Duran trouble.
I like Duran in a competitive 15 Unanimous Dec.

By the way there is only one SC
                That is South Carolina .
