GREAT Classic Boxing History Books By Those Who Were there

CLASSIC BOXING BOOKS and MANUAL'S From The Good Old days.
HI Blokes !!.... After Finding that great link for Frank Klaus's Book, The Art Of In-Fighting. I have made further discoveries of some all-time classics of boxing history. So I have decided to post the links so everyone can download these for free. There are books written by Mendoza, Fitzsimmons, Corbett, O'Brien, Driscoll and books from different era's of the 1800's. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read this stuff and you will learn just how much thought and common sense and sophistication these old-time fighters actually had. The book by Daniel Mendoza in the 1780's is very interesting, and illustrates how incredibly brutal boxing was back then.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first book link I will give you is from a very sophisticated boxing Master. The Book is called simply "BOXING", but written by none other than Philadelphia Jack O'Brien...... Download and enjoy,......... and let me know what you think.

If you meet a guy with a broadsword and he hands you a spare sword, and challenges you to a fight to the death....... I'm sorry, but boxing ability is obsolete...... You are gonna need to study this book... BEFORE that day... FROM 1797 - AN ABRIDGEMENT OF THE NEW BROAD SWORD EXERCISE,.... this book could SAVE YOUR LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!..

Most excellent post man, this is truly a thread for REAL historians. I hope this thread acts like a source for all of us....... Boxrec comes in handy, but the biographical information on there is almost non-existant.
