    LHW - pick the winners

    Prime for prime.

6 fighters: Archie Moore, Bob Foster, Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Ezzard Charles.

Rank them, and state whom you think they would beat in the tournament.

I think it's a race of two,..... Moore and Charles............ As Charles beat Moore thrice and once Kayoed him,,..... It must be Charles.

You can't disregard Foster's huge size advantage. The man was practically a heavyweight for fak's sake! Besides, **** Tiger, perhaps even better boxer than Charles, tried outboxing him but in the end got his lights out after 4 rounds. While its true Charles was taller than Tiger and perhaps a more natural lhw, it still can't be disregarded that Foster obviously knew how to deal with smaller and more mobile opponents. And Charles wasnt THAT much smaller. Btw, I can't see Ezzard stopping Foster and he would have to stay in his defensive shell and run and box entire night to beat Foster. Foster was only stopped once as a lhw, by big puncher Mauro Mina.

I couldn't pick against a prime Charles in any light-heavyweight matchup, I think he'd stop Foster as well, Charles had excellent power and precision.

Foster was not "stopped" by Mina. He lost a decision in his 12th or 13th pro fight. Foster was never stopped by a light heavyweight.

                  Charles
                  Foster
                  Moore
                  Saad Muhammad
                  Hopkins
                  Calslappy

Charles foster and Moore stand head and shoulders above the rest. MSM is head and shoulders above Slappy and B-Hop as well.

I think B-Hop wins a close decision against Foster and dominates Calzaghe and Saad Muhammad

The fact that some people actually have Saad Muhammad over B-Hop i s textbook History Section older=better because there is no way in hell anybody could actually think Saad Muhammad is anywhere near the same class of fighter B-Hop is
