Gift for first to solve this puzzle....

Can you link Andreas Kotelnik with 1920s fighter Benny Leonard using a chain of opponents?

Unrelated example: Morales fought Pacquiao who fought Mosley who fought ODLH who fought Hopkins etc....

    Don't cheat by using Boxrec!!

Maybe an easier way around it.

Thas pretty much what I did except I went Robinson-Archer-Griffith-Minter-Hagler'

          and Duran-Viret-Rosario-JC Chavez-Tszyu-Judah-Witter-Kotelnyk

I bet there are several possibilities.

I'd say it's impossible to solve without boxrec, unless your name is HHascup.

Yeah right! As if anyone could have recalled each and every opponent from Kotelnik back to Leonard. Guarantee that no one on this site, or probably anywhere for that matter, could have done that by pure memory alone.

It's a great premise though. GJC would have loved this type of thing.

Let's do another in his honour.

              Bob Fitzsimmons to Vic Darchniyan!

                I actually tried it aswell

                Gave up eventually.

Looking at the names makes it look not that difficult to get.

When I first did this I didn't see the "Don't use boxrec" and I did look at boxrec for a name so I deleted my post and dq'd myself when I seen it.

Yeah, I gave it a go, and although I don't have a great memory for records, I'd say it's pretty good and although I got pretty far, I ended up just going in circles.

So, Bob Fitz to Vic Darch?
