        Drug abuse in the 1980's caused a lot of this. If I had to make only one choice, it would be Michael Dokes. He should have been an excellent heavyweight champion.

              I think he had all the tools too be a lot greater than he was,lost some questionable decisions and wasnt managed in the best way imo.I was trying too think outside the box with that pick,maybe not the definitive biggest waste of potential ever but i certainly feel he was a huge underachiever

                  Edwin Valero not just for the destruction he caused for himself but for the destruction he caused for his WHOLE family immediate extended and in laws. Pretty talented guy with a hell of a punch. Don't know if he ever would've became a superstar but he was making a living for himself as well as his family. I'm not one to judge so I'll leave with this.... I hope he finds the peace in death that he couldn't find in life. R.I.P to him as well as his wife.
