"uncle tom"
"ugly"
"other type negroe"
"can't sing"
"short boy"
"the white mans champ"
Those words still hurt frazier

B-Hop offered to pay for it if the city finds somewhere for it, and they've got a rough draft of his head already done.
Personally I think they should tear down the Rocky Balboa statue (come the **** on, Rocky??) and put his up in its place.

Personally I think he's got the right to be a little bitter. Not just because of Ali, for example but because of how his own city built a statue of a fictional boxer loosely based on him (among others) instead of an actual boxer and certified ATG like himself. This is one of the many ways life hasn't been kind to Joe since his retirement.Last edited by Capaedia; 07-29-2011, 09:13 PM.

He seems bitter, but most old men from Philly (fighters at that) are t so kind. Look at B Hop.
I grew up in philly and boxed at his gym when I was young(er) and he seemed kinda nice to me. Oddly enough he had a great deal of respect for Louis, Foreman and Charles. He never said anything bad about them.
