Will Joe Frazier get a statue?

this among other articles claim that a statue is in the process of being made. But i have heard elsewhere that he will not get one. Can someone Clear this up for me?

I think so. His name is symbolic of Philadelphia boxing more than any other.

How weird. Well I'd certainly think Smoking Joe deserves a statue over a fictional movie character. Overall it's difficult for me to say do many boxers get statues what other boxers from Philidelphia are there to consider do they have statues that kind of thing. But even I associate Frasier from Philly so I think he must deserve one
