      The '10's' and of course the later '10's' is argubaly the pinnacle of MW History.

      A truley exceptional era.

      I don't have a list for this era, but, fighters such as;

      Greb (in his prime)
      Jack Dillon
      Eddie McGoorty
      etc etc etc

      Ones that you didn't mention;

      Mike O'Dowd
      Mike McGuire
      Tommy Robson
      ..............

      Clay Turner was a decent fighter of the teen era, had some decent wins, overwhelmed by loss's the majorty of times he stepped up but he was a great contender, if you will.

      Man, I can't think of many more ontop of your 12, but that alone is one hell of a stacked era.

        Yes true Mike O' Dowd is a good one I overlooked, I did that list off the top of my head so I put the brilliant Tommy Uren ( a WW ) and the Dynamite punching, Iron chinned Aboriginal Jerry Jerome and world Champion Mick King all Australians. Those 3 have been cruelly overlooked by BHistory, I mean those guys beat and fought McGoorty, Clabby, Chip and co. --------- This WAS THE MW era, ---- from "non Pariel Dempsey to Harry Greb, any name here would dominate the division today,,, we shoulda been there, eh !!!!!

          Whilst I'd agree that Greb wasn't quite prime I think he did enough in that era to be pushed further up the list. One who unfortunately didn't see too much of the era but who is worth a mention would be Ketchel, had he have lived.....
          Also Sam Langford could have stuck around at MW too. I've always liked Langford at MW.
          Carpentier fought at MW in that era, Billy Papke was still in the mix early on.
          Lot of names to consider

            You make some good points, especially Greb, I should probably do that but I hope you put your own list in. When I started this tread I fully intend to make a list out of which fighters had the most support from our members. I am happy to change the order that reflects the combined knowledge. Lastly in regard to the great Ketchel, this list of fighters is intended to represent that MW era BETWEEN the death of Stanley Ketchel and the rise of Harry Greb. Darcy and Greb were very young fighters and they started to rise through the ranks in '15 ( Les ) and Greb in '17 but you're right Harry may go up especially Greb in the last 2 years had beaten a number of great fighters so any Lists are VERY welcome, cheers mate.
