    Greatest Trainer of Alltime?

    I vote Norman Stone

Watch that video you will die laughing!

Probably the greatest man to have been involved in the sport of boxing in the last 10 Years. This man is a hero to our sport, possibly the greatest trainer that has ever lived.

Norman Stone starts a brawl in Germany

Former trainer of John Ruiz, Norman "Stoney" Stone.

    Career Highlights Include:

    - Cursing and yelling at Randy Neumann and being ejected from the Golota/Ruiz fight.

    - ****ing his fist and attempting to punch the trainer of Andrew Golota in between rounds during the Golota/Ruiz fight.

    - Starting an argument with Alton Merkerson (Roy Jones' trainer) at the RJJ/John Ruiz weighin and subsequently getting into a brawl with and being beaten up and hospitalized by Merkerson.

    - Stealing the WBA belt from Nikolay Valuev after Valuev was declared winner in decision over Ruiz. Norman began mouthing off and a ring-brawl ensued. Norman was thrown out and escorted by security.

In the history of boxing there has never been a more colourful character, or a man who has started so many brawls and been repeatedly escorted from ring by security.

    Ray Arcel for me.

If someone says Angelo Dundee, I will puke.

Norman Stone genuinely had me in stiches at times.

Like uncontrollable laughter. Stretching from when Jim Lampley identifying to everyone that he just called John Ruiz by the name of Roy, all the way to marching around the ring with the belt Valuev just won, flaunting it to the crowd like a WWF wrestler had just won the belt and the crowd going wild.

      Very funny guy.

Duva is so underrated in terms of insane traiers. Didnt Roger Mayweather drop him after Duva charged him after the Pazienza fight? and I feel like that happened more than once too.

although my vote goes for Norman Stone too.

Ray Arcel definitely 18 world champions!
Eddie Futch next in my opinion.

Norman Stone is a real character.

When discussing the best trainers you have to include these:

                Futch
                Arcel
                Steward
                and probably Dundee (sorry yonda).

In 10 years Roach will probably join this list.

Dundee wasn't even a trainer. He was a cornerman.

I might have to go with Cus D'mato with the two youngest heavyweight champions of all time. Emanuel Steward would also be a top guy. And of course, Lou Duva does have to be mentioned in this conversation. I really have to lean towards D'mato with the machine he built with Mike Tyson. When Mike was young and hungry under Cus's wing, he was practically unstoppable, and in in his younger form I don't think there are many boxers ever who could have dealt with him.
