How is it only meant for Cuban boxers ?, it's too common a nickname too have only been meant for them.

Did you not read what I said? It's misused now, originally it was only given to Cuban fighters who turned pro and fought in the US at extremely young ages, hence the moniker. Kid Chocolate, Kid Paret, etc.

Yes I read what you said, did you read what I said ?.

It's meant only for Cuban fighters.
Kid Kaplan from the Ukraine / Russia and Kid McCoy from America are the earliest Kids I can think of, then there is Kid Berg from England and I'm sure some others which I can't think of atm, all of which are from before the Cuban 'kids'.

I really don't see how it was meant only for Cuban boxers , maybe it's a traditional thing there but that's it.

That's what I meant, traditionally it's been associated with Cubans, especially as far as champions go. Now it's used by anyone and everyone like everything else. I'm sure there have been of exceptions, and have heard of Kid Kaplan (although he turned pro at 18 which isn't too exceptional for the name). Most of those others it was probably just due to looking young.

That's odd, I hate all the cheesy names like that.

Another I like is "Fighting" Harada for the pure simplicity.

"Flash" Elrode would also be a cool name
