I was just looking at some fights with very bad cuts including Margarito almost ripping Sebastian Lujuan's ear off. Any other fights you can remember with extremely bad cuts?

Israel Vazquez in the fourth Marquez fight. You could see his skull over his left eye and the one over the right eye was almost as bad.

I don't know how you can say that. I remember that fight where BJ Penn licked the blood off his gloves, that was gruesome. Watch Marquez-Vazquez IV, Lewis-Klitschko, Khan-Barrera, etc. They're beyond gruesome. They're sickening.

He's right. Elbows lend themselves very well to cuts. The frequency of severe cuts in MMA is much higher accordingly.
