at least listons handlers cheated, but i don't know about liston himself. the fifth round when clay was blind was the only rould liston won and he was lucky he got that one. cassius still beat him, and he became liston's daddy.

Yea,I believe Dundee did that to save Ali from a KO. He said that the glove just split unintentionally, but I think he split ot give Ali more time to recover from Cooper's left hook.

It burns the surface of the cut to seal it up and help stop some of the bleeding.

Similiar to Hydroperoxide or alcohol. If that stuff burns an open wound imagine a little bit in the eyes.
