If Tyson didn't lose to Douglas would he have self-destructed and lost soon after?

    Horne and Holloway were Tyson's friends from back in the day, who used to hang around with Tyson when he wanted time away from Catskills. King would pay them a million dollars if they could encourage Tyson to leave his original team and sign with King. The way they did that was by playing the race card, the white man, ***s in suits (Kings fav line) etc, etc. The fact that Tyson didnt even have anything good to say about Cayton and Jacobs in that Toback doc, shows just how good a job they did on Tyson.

    Jay Bright was a fat kid who grew up in Cus house with Tyson, he wasnt very good at boxing, so he spent most of his time in the kitchen cooking dinner. Its the reason why Rooney said quiche making has nothing to do with boxing. Atlas would call it the equivalent of a man wearing plastic thongs under a Versace suit. When Bright hooked up with Tyson he had a full time job as a chief. They hw champion of the world and his trainer is a full time chef

    Snowell's credentials seemed ok, he trasined Witherspoon and Jackson at some point before hooking up with Tyson before the Bruno fight

    Both Bright and Snowell pleaded with Tyson to take Douglas seriously, but he refused to listen to them.

    King of course had tried to play the *** card with Jones and Toney, who were also managed by ***s, both of them told him to **** off.

      Ali got knocked down, he did not "almost get KOd". I'm not sure which Ali-Cooper fight you were watching, but in the version I watched, Ali was on his feet in three seconds.

        Fortunately for him the bell rang so he was able to walk back to his corner on unsteady legs. He was obviously hurt bad which is why Dundee bought him precious seconds with the tear in his glove.
        Ali=overrated

          Those crooked timekeepers, always ringing the bell when time expires.

            He probably would have lost to Evander.

              Ali was always great in the clinch, he was very strong. Whenever he got hurt his opponents never had a chance to finish him because he would tie them up at will. Cooper wouldn't have finished him, come on now.

                  The point is he had trouble with a C class fighter but could still beat A class fighters. i.e your argument is null and void

                  Because Tyson had trouble with Tucker (who was around class B+), doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to beat elite fighters. I gave you three examples of fighters who had trouble with B level fighters: Toney, Ali and Hopkins to prove your argument wrong.

                  Also how about some corroborating evidence for the whole Tucker and his hand problem?
