I'm assuming that you think Schmelling 2 is his greatest win. But after that....
2) Louis vs Baer: A 4th round KO over Baer is a terrific result, it was a one sided performance other than one good moment for Baer.......and this performance really showcased Louis's left hook.
3) Louis vs Braddock: His title win has to be high up there. A great display of combination/power punching.....plus he had to get up from a good punch of Braddock's to take the belt.
4) Louis vs Conn: Conn was superb this night, masterful in movement, footwork, speed and combination work. It was very exciting to watch, one of the best fights of all time. Louis caught up with him in the end (round 13). The KO was a superb cumulation of powerful punches.
5) Louis vs Walcott 2: After being near as dammit outboxed by Walcott in a previous 15 round decision (awarded to Louis by split decision) Louis meets Walcott again and finds him even more of a bag of tricks. After being dropped enroute Louis finds a superb, rapid combination to knock future champ Walcott out in the 11th.
There were other great nights but these are my faves!
