Ali-Frazier is a clear no. 1 for me.
History is full of great rivalries though. Of the top of my head I can name Pep-Saddler, Zale-Graziano, Nelson-Gans, Gatti-Ward, Robinson-LaMotta etc.Comment

My favourite would have to be Eubank - Benn, mainly because of the complete contrast in their characters.
The 1910's was a purple patch for famous rivalries, with Langford, McVey, Wills and Jeannette all fighting one another umpteen times, with Langford taking on Wills the most.
Ted Kid Lewis and Jack Britton had an incredible rivalry, and during their primes fought each other about 4 times a year culminating in something ridiculous like 19 bouts.

The background he came from. The way he stuck with Petronelli. He tore his space in history and stayed faithful to his trainer for his entire career. Theres not many boxers you can say that about that are at the top of their game today.Comment
