What are your thoughts on him as a fighter. He seemed to have an unreliable chin good punching power. How would he have done with Tom Johnson, Kevin Kelly, hamed, barrera, morales, marquez, gainer, norwood

He was a very strong fighter with heavy hands, not the best skills or the best chin but he made up for it. Very good counter left hook that caught opponents on the way in and very good straight right hand, sometimes the opponents looked at the right hand too much and forgot about the left hook, which is what happened to McKinney. He always struck me as a guy who liked to counterpunch though, so he didn't always assert his strength, a lot of times he'd sit back and wait for his opponents to make the first move and catch them with the counter left hook and then press his advantage.
Guys like Hamed, Barrera, Marquez and Morales were a level above him and would've beaten him but he would've given them tough fights.
I think fights against Kelley, Johnson, Gainer and Norwood would've been close and competitive. Don't know if Espinosa would've won because Espinosa preferred fighters who went at him but he would've given them all they could handle IMO.
His first fight against 'Cobrita' Gonzalez ended weirdly, he got hurt and knocked down by Cobrita, got up, walked over to Gonzalez at the neutral corner and fell down again at Gonzalez' feet.
