Charley Burley - Analyzing Genius (Video)

I've seen this video before and it gets better every time. Charlie Burley could fight. It's a shame there's not more footage of him.

it is a pity BHop could not put it into practise against Jermain Taylor (twice).. sorry but that video is garbage in my opinion, Burley's opponent looks to be an amateur who has no spring in his legs and no jab all he can do is throw a telegraphed left-hook, as i have said many times Thomas Hearns would have "Be-Headed" Burley.

        Oakland Billy could hit:

        4:25

        3:55

Burley had to be extremely careful in there with a light heavyweight puncher like Smith.

If you have been into boxing for all these years. How come you seem not to know who Burley's oppoenet is? Oakland Billy Smith was a devastating puncher and was a extremly dangerous fighter.

If Smith was that much of a amatuer like you called him, how did he manage to defeat Jack Chase x2, KO both Lloyd Marshall & Harold Johnson, & draw with Archie Moore?

And I highly dout Thomas Hearns would KO Burley. Burley had one of the best chins of all time (Never KO'd or Stopped), and took on some devastating punchers in Archie Moore & Billy Smith and never even hit the deck in them fights.

Hearns was a devasting puncher, but what makes you so sure he KO's Burley, when he cound't KO Iran Barkely, Wilfed Benitez, Ernie Singletary, Luigi Minchillo, Doug DeWitt or Virgil Hill?
