          What's your criteria? You do have a lot of heavyweights...

          For instance, Dempsey was certainly a bigger celebrity than a guy like Harry Greb, but I'd rank Greb higher than Dempsey in terms of ability and resume. I'd put Henry Armstrong in the 1930s over Joe Louis, again, if we're talking about ability and not celebrity. Ditto for Pernell Whitaker as figher of the 80s over Leonard.

              Pretty good! Couple of changes I'd make, but that's to be expected - Ray Robinson in the 40's and 50's and Pacquiao over Mayweather, but good list.

                the only fighter i would agree with you is ali,the group from the 1870s and down i have never heard of them,and duran the best of the 70s you must be kidding,ali was the best of the 70s

                    have boxing knowledge,i am not going to talk about fighters from the old days that is based on heresay,fighters of the fifties and down are comical imagine fighters fronm the 1800s
