Jones never fought big punchers with one punch ko power like McCallum, McClellan and Benn. So we have to guess about that.

He never fought tall rangy southpaws like Nunn, so we have to also guess how that would of also worked out as well
Considering his size, he fought a one punch ko power in ruiz. He also fought a tall southpaw in tarver.

No. Ruiz didn't have one-punch KO power period. That's how the fight was (sort of) sold; not what it was.

          As i said, considering Roy's natural size(middleweight).

Top 10 ATG? Absolutely not. Around 60-70 sounds about right for Roy.

where do you rank him in your overal list

Jones is my 4th favorite of all-time.

He didn't have much competition at or around his weight class. If he had more credible opponents on his resume, he would top 10 for sure, but that wasn't really his fault. He fought and beat everyone he could, the talent pool just wasn't very deep around his weight class.

No one fought the way he did. Roy really was superman in the ring.

              Top 25-35 for sure.

Eubank, Benn, Michalczewski, Nunn, McClellan, Collins and Rochigiani all big names he could of fought but didn't

Roy's natural size was not Middleweight. He outgrew the class early and in the day of weigh-in era might have moved up sooner. He was a small Light Heavyweight best suited for around 173. Size doesn't make one a puncher anyways. Maxie Rosenbloom would have had a hard time one-punching a Featherweight. Ruiz might have been, theoretically, a threat to overwhelm Roy but one snappy KO shot wasn't likely and Ruiz wasn't the man for it.

Eubank and Benn were shot and passed their primes. Nunn also saw better days when Roy was on top. He was still credible at the time, but I thought he was very overrated.

McClellan was in line to fight Roy, but we know what happened to him.

But I agree, Michalczewski and Collins were guys he should have fought.

Jones is a natural MW(to be more accurrate, he was a natural SMW). In fact weight can make a lot of difference as far as punching power goes. For example: Jones KO'd a lot of fighters with one punch when he was a SMW, but that changed up once he moved up to LH and that because he was a fighting bigger guys.
